We will discuss and fix in the TOR (Terms of Reference) the composition of the preliminary design, determining the degree of its development. If we cannot do with illustrative materials alone, we will include an explanatory note in the project.
Clausura
We start our co-operation by discussing the concept of the architectural project and drawing a clausura. What is this beast? It is a sketch of an architectural idea.
The point is that in the good old days, a European architect could not get the proud title of professional until he sat locked up for a few hours (without cheat sheets and hints) and drew a sketch project of a building. If the apprentice came out of confinement, solemnly carrying a sketch of unprecedented beauty, the venerable architects included him in their narrow circle. And the term originated, as they say, from the English word to close (close), and the tradition has settled down for a long time: clausura continue to draw students of architectural faculties as a useful exercise.
You and I will not lock anyone up, but an architect will make a couple of sketches, listening to your wishes.
Based on these man-made pictures, when you approve them, drawings will be made that are part of the preliminary design.
Floor plans
If we mentally cut the room horizontally at the level of the bottom of the window openings, look at the resulting picture from above and depict it all with thin black lines - we get a plan. It is drawn to give an idea of the shape and size of the room.
