1. Почему стоит обратить внимание на технологию соломенного домостроения?
Технология соломенного домостроения — это отличное решение для тех, кто хочет построить жилье из качественных, а главное натуральных материалов. Их природное происхождение – дерево, солома, глина – не только благоприятно влияют на самочувствие и здоровье жильцов, а и обеспечивает комфортный микроклимат в доме. Технология давно получила признание в Европе, а сейчас набирает популярность в Украине.
2. Не проседает ли со временем солома в панели?
Такая проблема может возникнуть исключительно в случае низкой плотности прессования соломы. Наше производство SoloDim позволяет достичь высокой плотности, которая составляет 150 кг/м3. Такие показатели не позволяют стеновому материалу просесть со временем и избежать любых трещин или пустот.
3. Может ли дом из соломенных панелей привлечь мышей?
В соломенной панели используется ржаная солома с высоким содержанием кремнезема, что делает ее жесткой, горькой и несъедобной. Построить гнездо в стене у мыши также не получится, т.к. для него необходим рыхлый материал, а солома в стене сильно спрессована. Слой глиняной штукатурки, которым покрывается стена после сборки, будет дополнительно препятствовать проникновению любых грызунов в стены.
4. Что на счет пожарной безопасности?
Конструкция соломенной стены с нанесенной на нее штукатуркой была официально протестирована в США и Германии и отнесена к классу огнестойкости F119. Для примера, металлическая стена отнесена к классу огнестойкости F15, то есть под воздействием огня теряет несущую способность спустя 15 минут. Канадский Исследовательский Институт также утвердил, что соломенная панель превосходит по своим противопожарным характеристикам многие общепринятые строительные материалы (срубы, каркасные дома и т.п.).
5. Какие варианты внутренней отделки стен и пола доступны?
Для соломенной панели покрытой глиняной штукатуркой не нужно подбирать особенные материалы для отделки. Подойдут всем известные: обои, плитка, вагонка или пробковое покрытие. На стену с легкостью можно наносить штукатурку любой цветовой гаммы или выполнить отделку декоративным камнем. Пол может быть выполнен с использованием ковровых или пробковых покрытий, паркета, ламината, керамической плитки.
6. Какие варианты наружной отделки стен?
Внешний вид фасада вашего дома может быть в любом из вариантов: декоративный камень, пластиковая вагонка, керамогранитная плитка, облицовочный кирпич, штукатурка, деревянная вагонка, сайдинг или блок хаус.
7. А варианты покрытия кровли?
Металлочерепица, битумная черепица, глиняная черепица, профнастил, рулонные кровельные материалы, шифер, крыша из камыша, ондулин (еврошифер) – все это варианты, которые можно использовать для кровли крыши.

No harmful fumes, no mould, no dust. Eco panels are highly vapour-permeable, providing natural humidity of 60% and healthy microclimate in the house.
It is proved that the eco house possesses biopositive and medical properties as 80% of its structure consists of natural materials. Also these materials dampen "white noise". Straw eco-houses are in fact natural health resorts that improve health by creating an environment with optimal temperature, humidity and fresh air (straw panels are "breathing"). It has been proven that people suffering from bronchopulmonary and allergic diseases feel significantly better in such houses.

Because of its unique cell structure, straw has been used in construction for thousands of years. In combination with modern technologies in our production process, we have been able to further improve its characteristics and obtain exceptional insulating properties. No thermal bridges, no dew points and easy airtightness provide our eco houses with the standard of an energy-efficient house. And the airtightness prevents cold and hot air from penetrating.

THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY OF STRAW

SOUNDPROOFING

SOLODIM panels have excellent soundproofing properties. The interwoven straw structure and wall thickness of 40 cm perfectly absorbs sound and provides a sound penetration resistance of up to 56 dB, which is equivalent to the sound insulation of a 2.5 m brick wall. This far exceeds standard requirements and provides exceptional acoustic comfort.

PERMEABILITY

Straw panels plastered with natural, clay mortar have a vapour permeability coefficient of at least 0.05 mg/(m*h*Pa). This creates favourable climate control, which saves on ventilation, recuperation and air conditioning costs. Excellent indoor air quality is created through the natural regulation of humidity. A healthy living environment is ensured.
The natural components in our product (straw, clay, lime) are open to the diffusion of water vapour, and so optimally regulate the passage of humidity through the panel, and prevent the formation of condensation. Lime and clay plasters act as moisture regulators. If there is too much moisture in the room, they absorb it into themselves. When humidity is low, the plaster gives it back. The straw in the panels has 90% of its direction from the inside of the house to the outside, and the tubular structure acts as an instant moisture lift from the inside plaster to the outside, from which it can be freely removed.
This is why it is very important that mortars, wall covering materials do not contain cement and chemical components that impede vapour circulation, so as not to alter the properties of natural eco materials.

FIREPROOF

The structure has high fire performance. The straw in the panel is highly compacted (150kg/m3). It contains very little oxygen for combustion. In addition, there is a lot of silica in the straw, which is a natural fire retardant. In addition, the panels are protected with clay (lime) plaster on both sides. Fire resistance class of the load-bearing elements: REI 120. Test duration: 120min. Tests were carried out in Germany, France as well as in Ukraine.
Fire reaction of ecopanels with bio-insulation after plastering according to the European classification of EN 13501-1 - Bs1d0(low-combustible). The test duration is 120 minutes.

NO GRAINS

Straw contains only cellulose and is not a food source. Rodents like to build tunnels and look for hollows. Strongly compacted straw (150kg/m3) combined with clay and lime plaster is not a suitable environment for them. Rye straw is used exclusively for the production of eco panels. It is a proven fact that mice do not like rye because of the large number of thorns in it as well as its composition. Only rye straw has high silica content, which makes it durable and long-lasting. Insects and rodents do not eat it or even settle in it.

MINIMAL ENVIRONMENTAL FOOTPRINT

We follow the criteria of biobuilding and bioclimatism, using materials with a minimal environmental impact, almost without transformation; a product from SOLODIM is considered Negative Carbon Construction, as the materials do not require CO2 emissions during production and, on the contrary, absorb carbon dioxide during their life cycle, trapped in straw and wood.
Our panels have a very beneficial effect on the climate. This is partly due to the CO2 content of straw and wood, and partly because straw is a by-product of the agricultural sector and therefore already produced.
In addition, our panels replace high-emission materials such as concrete, bricks, aerated concrete, or polystyrene, which further reduces the impact on the climate.

As a company, we strive to make natural building materials universally available and to promote solutions that are good for people and the planet alike.

When resources are scarce, straw is the ideal building material. It is renewable, widely available and in most cases has no other use.

On average, our panels consist of 89% straw and 10% wood. Because forests play an important role in protecting our climate, we have designed our panels to use as little wood as possible - just enough to structure the system.

The wood we use is FSC certified and the straw is a by-product of grain production.

GREEN BUILDING

Pressed straw is a sustainable alternative to concrete, aerated concrete and bricks!

In Ukraine, we have more straw than we know what to do with - we could build thousands of houses every year from surplus straw. Like trees, straw picks up carbon as it grows.

Modern cement is a constant disaster for our climate. Worldwide, cement production alone accounts for 5-10% of anthropogenic CO2 emissions; where we don't need it, we shouldn't use it.

Straw grows every year. Stuff that straw into a panel that will produce a building for years to come - we are making a huge contribution to carbon sequestration, all without the need for sophisticated technology.

The double wooden frame with a high safety margin (quality wood - pine, thermally treated (timber 100x50), max. 12% humidity), the wall panel width 1.2 m, thickness 0.45 m and height 3.0 m has the following properties :

LONG-TERM GUARANTEE

Quality wood and well-compressed straw are strong materials. Straw is used as a thermal insulator and plastered with a lime or clay vapour permeable mortar. This eco plaster is a natural preservative that keeps wood and straw dry at all times. Thousands of our ancestral houses made of wood and plastered with clay or lime, which are still standing in excellent condition today, are an example of the increased longevity of eco houses.
Modern straw construction methods come from the beginning of the last century. The first houses built in Europe (1921) and the USA (1925) are still in excellent condition.
We offer a 25-year manufacturer's warranty on the insulation layer and 50 years on the structure. However, if the standard of installation is followed and the building from SOLODIM is properly operated, the longevity of a building from SOLODIM can be measured in centuries.

CONSTRUCTION SPEED

A particular advantage of this product is the speed of construction - quick assembly. The eco-panels have a high degree of factory readiness. It takes from one week to one month to produce the panels of a future house set. At the same time, the foundation is poured. House of eco panels is assembled within 5-10 days. Finishing can be done in a month. Relatively light prefabricated houses can be mounted on any type of ground.
Eco House allows you to minimize the time of construction stress and money, because the cost increases with increasing construction time! One standard panel weighs up to 200 kg. This allows it to be easily assembled by 4 workers without special equipment and machinery.

No need to connect gas. Solar panels, heat pumps, cookers and solid fuel boilers are especially justified in warm, energy-efficient homes made of our straw panels.
The clay plaster, when heated by heating, creates biomass and subsequently acts as a heat accumulator, releasing the heat back. In summer, the clay plaster, which is protected from direct sunlight, works the other way around - it cools the room!
